Copper plays a fundamental role in electronics, owing to its low bulk electrical resistivity and high thermal conductivity.1-4 The deposition method of copper foil can roughly be categorized into PVD, CVD, electroplating, and electroless deposition techniques.1 However, the control of the microstructure of copper foil is difficult to achieve with the current technology.1 We report the electroless deposition of shiny copper film on glass by facile room-temperature liquid reaction without using complexing agent.
