It has been found that under similar experiment conditions, plasma parameters have significant differences between dusty and conventional plasmas.We here study the dust effect on certain plasma discharge processes theoretically and compare it with experiment data observed in our lab at Dalian University of Technology, such as the electron density and temperature variation.The growth ofnanometer particles due to charging and deposition processes is calculated, which leads to the electron density decreasing.
