For "bottom-up" proteomic analysis, protein digestion prior to MS analysis is indispensable1,2 However, traditional in-solution digestion often suffers from time-consuming, sample loss and contamination.Although these problems could be overcome by developing immobilized enzyme reactor (IMER), the nonspecific adsorption of proteins on supports prevents IMER widely used for analysis of low-abundance proteins.
