　　A method basing on reclassification of resident to consider the influence of resident type and size on the population density was brought forward to gain the spatial distribution of population.The residents were reclassified firstly and then the density of all resident types was calculated using least square method.Experiment was conducted and results showed that the method can improve the precision of spatial distribution of population.
