In this work,a novel molecularly imprinted electrochemiluminescence (MIP–ECL) sensor was investigated for ultrasensitive determination of ultratrace Ni2+ by mimics amplification effect.The complex of Ni2+–dimethylglyoxime (Ni–DMG) was chosen as the template molecule for constructing the molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP),and then acted as the mimics to catalyze the oxidization of luminol for enhancement of the ECL signal.The technique provides quantitative analysis of Ni2+ with concentrations ranging from 3.00 × 10-12 mol/L to 6.00 × 10-9 mol/L.The detection limit was 1.01×10-12 mol/L,which was much lower than that of reported.This method was successfully applied to determination of Ni2+ in real samples,such as apple,carrot,and grape,which has been proven its feasibility for practical applications.
