Hydrogen is a clean energetic fuel and has been proposed as an ideal successor to fossil fuels.However, in consideration of its fast escaping capability and highly explosive character, how to store hydrogen for a long term as well as transport hydrogen for a long distance has become a worldwide challenge.A variety of hydrogen storage technologies have been developed, among which the system using cyclic-hydrocarbons as hydrogen storage media is currently attracting more and more attention.
