Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans(PCDD/Fs)are hazardous pollutants that are formed during various thermal and chemical processes.Although studies of tetra-to OCDD/F homologues have provided valuable information on the sources and sinks of PCDD/Fs,complete profiles of the mono-to octa-chlorinated homologues and congeners would better illuminate their formation mechanisms.A research indicated that mono-to tri-CDD/Fs were abundant in stack gas from waste incinerators which had a remarkable percentage of 53.2–94.5%in all the detected PCDD/F homologue.
