Botulinum toxin has played a key role for the treatment of the wrinkle for which only surgical procedures have been used for a long time.Even if it has a disadvantage of temporary effectiveness, it became popular in a short period of time because it stands away from surgical procedures.As the range of botulinum toxin application has become wider, various adverse events have been reported and many clinicians are interested in a way of reducing those adverse events rather than the method of botulinum toxin injection.However, until now there is no special corrective method in case of an expressionless face, spokes sign, eyebrow drooping, sunken cheek and cheek drooping.The only way is to choose patients carefully in order to avoid these adverse events.
