2V/0.4Ah ultra-battery has been constructed with carbon electrode and subjected to a variety of tests,such as discharging at 3C-rate and 5C-rate and cycling performance.The results show that the discharge voltage of the ultra-battery is higher and its capacity is larger than that of the conventional lead-acid counterpart during high-rate discharging.The cycle-life of the ultra-battery increases by 28%.
