The history of school feeding in Sub-Saharan Africa has experienced tortuous development for more than half a century.School Feeding Programmes now have two development trends — national ownership and local procurement.But These programs face such problems as the overall poorly political and economic environment, inadequate government capacity, and low local procurement ratio.However ,Chinas Nutrition Programme can get some inspirations from Sub-Saharan African experience on programme implementation, community participation and local procurement.Meanwhile, the Chinese Government can add School Feeding Programme into the China-Africa educational cooperation.
