Since Fujishima and Honda [1] a large number of semiconductors,e.g.,oxides [2],(oxy) nitride [3],and (oxy) sulfide [4],have been reported to have photocatalytic activity for water-splitting.Up to now,CdS remains to be an attractive visible-light-driven photocatalyst because of its relatively narrow band gap and the suitable levels of the conduction and valence bands [5].
