For the requirement of bandwidth in the next generation broadband mobile communication,the generalized fre-quency division multiplexing(GFDM)was proposed as a solution to meeting the requirement via utilizing the frag-mental spectrum.Firstly,the feasibility of the GFDM sys-tem, combining with orthogonal frequency division mul-tiplexing(OFDM),to utilizing the fragmental spectrum was analysed,then modelling the system and taking simu-lations.
