With unique potentials to achieve high energy density and low cost,rechargeable batteries based on metal anodes are capable to store more energy via an alloying/de-alloying process,in comparison to traditional graphite anode via an intercalation/de-intercalation process.Herein,we report a novel aluminum-graphite dual-ion battery (AGDIB) in an conventional electrolyte with high reversibility andhigh energy density.
