To be taken into account the random excitation of irregular pavement, the vehicles and the concrete box girder bridge with corrugated steel webs[1,2,3] can be taken as an interaction system. The natural vibration characteristics of the bridge can be obtained by using finite element method.According to the vehicle-bridge coupling[4] vibration theory, the control matrix of modal parameters of the concrete box girder bridge with corrugated steel webs can couple with the d.vnamic parameters matrix of the vehicles. The program which considers the effect of the irregular pavement on vehicle-bridge coupling vibration response is compiled. The dynamic response of the bridge with the vehicles passing through the bridge at different speeds is analyzed, in order to find the fundamental regulation for the effect of the irregular pavement[6,7] on vehicle-bridge coupling vibration responses of the concrete box girder bridge with corrugated steel webs. The result can provide beneficial reference to the dynamic design, the vibration control and dynamic performance evaluation of the concrete box girder bridge with corrugated steel webs.
