Botrytis cinerea, is a ubiquitous and destructive plant pathogen with a broad host range worldwide, which can cause serious yield losses in some crops.In 2013, a new disease with the typical symptoms of gray mold producing gray mycelia and conidia on infected tissues was observed on mungbean (Vigna radiata) grown in the field in Chongqing, China.
