  Molecular imprinting which can create an affinity matrix that is chemically and sterically complementary to the template molecules is one of the most promising separation methods in recent years.Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIP) can recognize and separate target molecules quickly by copolymerization of the functional monomers and cross-linkers around the templates.The monolithic columns have attracted wide attention due to fast mass transfer, good permeability and low back pressure and so on.The MIP monolith, combining the advantages of molecular imprinting technology and monolithic columns, can be applied to deplete high abundant proteins and enrich low abundant proteins from complex biological samples.
