Investigations of macrobenthos in Jiulongjiang estuary was carried out in May and November in 2009.Altogether 145 species belonging to 90 families and 10 phyla were identified,among them were 69 species ofpolychaetes,23 species of mollusks,37species of crustacean,5 species of Echinodermata,and 11 taxa of the other animals.113species and 75 families in spring and 86 species and 61 families in autumn were recorded.
