Currently there are no approved treatments to reduce the occurrence of colorectal liver metastasis.In this report, we formulate a galactose-PEG lipid calcium phosphate (LCP) nanoparticle to deliver plasmid DNA (pDNA) to the liver (hepatocytes) in order to express an engineered CXCL12-trap protein.
