  Purpose: Establishing the health development surcharge(1%)from all tobacco products in Bangladesh.Methods and Materials: Tobacco control movement in Bangladesh actually began in 1980s and got organized trough preventing “Voyage of Discovery” by a writ petition by some organizations and formation of Bangladesh Anti-Tobacco Alliance(BATA),a platform of more than 700 organizations.
