The mechanical properties of single(multi)flexible pile(s)composite foundation is influenced directly by the modulus of pile,soil surrounded pile and soil on bottom of pile.It is simulated by the finite element method ANSYS to find out its regularity.Results show that for the single flexible pile composite foundation,under the same geological condition,it is the increasing of pile's modulus that improves the bearing performance of foundation,the bearing performance of pile is also improves,then the stress ratio between pile and soil improves and settlements both of pile and soil surrounded pile decreases.Under the different geological conditions,the bearing performance of soil surrounded pile improves,the stress ratio between pile and soil decreases,settlements both of pile and soil surrounded pile increases when the pile with same property(its modulus is unchagned).For the multi flexible piles composite foundation,when the modulus ratio between piles and soil surrounded piles increases,more stress transfer to the pile,the bearing performance of soil surrounded piles decreases,then the stress ratio between pile and soil increases,as a result,the total settlements tendency of flexible pile composite foundation is obvious.
