  This paper introduces applications of the satellite remote sensing technology in natural radioactivity.It expounds the significance of the natural radioactivity research and the basic principle of remote applied to the research of natural radioactivity.The relationship between the radioactivity abnormal region and geologic body is analyzed systematically.In this article,supervised classification method and Spectral Angle Mapping are used for the extraction of RS information.We extract geologic body information which is relevant to gamma radiation.For the application of the satellite remote sensing technology,we can distinguish the geologic body that has high levels of gamma radiation and small scale charts.The on-site inspections have been launched.The corresponding relationship between natural radiation level and radiation source item is becoming clearer.The study provides exact position and targets for protection and control on the region which is high levels of gamma radiation.The project can enlarge the range of services of environment geochemistry and remote sensing geology.It opens up a new approach for us to do some research on natural radioactivity.
