The low-velocity impact response of sandwich beams with aluminum alloy face-sheets and layered-gradient aluminum foam cores was investigated by using a drop-weight machine in this study. The thickness of the face-sheet and the whole cores of the sandwich beam were 1mm and 30mm,respectively.
