We theoretically show that selection of a specific quantum path in high-order harmonic generation can be realized by adjusting the relative phase in an infrared two-color laser pulse.It is also demonstrated that an ultra-broadband soft-x-ray harmonic continua with a bandwidth of 156eV can be obtained which directly generates an isolated 42 attosecond pulse without phase compensation.Our finding can be beneficial for generating single broadband attosecond pulse with the duration approaching 1 atomic unit.
