Objectives: We report a series of14Hoffa fractures treated at a Levell trauma center byone surgeon and systematically analyse the injury mechanism, diagnostic method, surgical technique, radiological and clinical outcome.Patients and methods: All fractures weretreated by open reduction through a typicalposterolateral approach or posteromedial approach described by Henderson.Internal fixation was performed withgeneral reconstruction plate combination with cancellous screws for all cases.Reduction quality and radiological follow-up results were assessed in standard anteroposterior and lateral radiographs.Clinical outcome results were evaluated by Knee Societyscores after average 38 months follow-up time.
