Brassica napus L.,an allotetraploid (AACC,2n = 4x = 38) formed from the diploid B.rapa (AA,2n = 2x = 20) and B.oleracea (CC,2n = 2x = 18),is the most important vegetable oilseed crop in the world.Single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) is the most useful marker for genetic diversity study, genetic mapping, association mapping and molecular breeding because of its abundance in the genome and amenability for high throughput genotyping.
