Slope gradient and vegetation cover are sensitive factors affecting soil erosion, and to explore the relationship between slope gradient and vegetation cover and sediment yield characteristics is of great significance to soil erosion sediment yield prediction and soil and water conservation. In this study, based on the field runoff scouring experiments, runoff coefficient, accumulative sediment yielding, accumulative runoff sediment concentration, and sediment particle size composition under the interaction of different slope gradients (5°,10°,15°,20°) and vegetation covers (0%,15%,30%) were analyzed to reveal the bank slope erosion and sediment yielding characteristics in the lower reaches of the Yellow River.
