Public pedagogy is an important course for institutions of higher learning to cultivate expert teachers in education who have equipped with excellent accomplishment of education theory, with an aim to satisfy and adapt to the new requirements brought out for the teachers educational qualities under the new circumstances.The teaching of public pedagogy course should stress the subject positions that students have.Through carrying out the course reforms of public pedagogy, the learning enthusiasm of students will be motivated.Apply the diversified teaching methods, innovate the assessment methods of public pedagogy course and thus improve the efficiency of teaching.This paper analyzes the basic characteristics of public pedagogy course, explores the main existing problems in the teaching of public pedagogy and puts forward the specific measures to carry out the course reforms of public pedagogy.
