It is of both academic and industrial interests to to understand and be able to model how the formation and evolution of different microstructures and textures during and after extrusion.The current work implemented a physical-based extrusion microstructure modelling framework.The modelling framework includes a FEM (HyperXtrude) model to account for the deformation histories along a set of particle paths during extrusion.
