Chlorogenic acid,with its chemical name 3-caffeoylquinic acid,is a styrene-acrylic grain compound obtained by the condensation of caffeic acid and quinic acid.It widely exists in the plants like Japanese Honeysuckle Flower Bud,Wild chrysanthemum,Eucommia Bark,Dandelion,Capillary Wormwood Herb and Sunflower.Chlorogenic acid has a wide range of biological activities,such as cholagogic effect,antibiosis,antivirus,stabilizing blood glucose,increasing the white blood cells,stopping bleeding,shortening the blood clots and bleeding time and enhancing the immune system and etc.
