Bacterial wilt caused by Ralstonia solanacearum (RS) is a soilborne disease which infects root and stem of the plant causing a sudden wilt.RS has been marked as the second most destructive pathogen due to its ability to invade a very broad host range.How to effectively reduce the damage of the RS to the plant becomes a priority task in the real production, not only in China, but also in other countries, such as America, India.Tomato and ginger bacterial wilt caused by RS has become a severe problem mainly on tomato and ginger production in Anhui province.
