  The wild wheatgrass,Thinopyrum intermedium,in tribe Triticeae,has been widely hybridized extensively with wheat and proved to be a valuable source of agronomically important genes.However,the genomic constitution of Thinopyrum intermedium was reported as either E1E2St or JsJsSt genome,therefore it needed to be further studied.In this study,a new Sabrina-like LTR retrotransposon DNA sequence,named pDbH12,was isolated from Vb genome of Dasypyrum breviaristatum.
