Background and objective Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM) was a newest endoscopic method to treat achalasia with minimal invasiveness, but the estimation of this method in the long time follow-up, especially the factors predicting the outcome of POEM was still unknown.The aim of this retrospective study was to appraise the role of high resolution manometry (HRM) and barium meal to predict the efficiency of POEM.
