Despite little mechanistic knowledge, the concept of a non-invasive, non-thermal intervention low level laser (LLL) blood irradiation is worthy of attention when searching for novel methods of nondrug therapies to reduce inflammation, modulate immune function and improve healing as LLL Blood Irradiation Therapy appears promising with great potential.Originally developed in Russia, it has been used intravenously for decades, from which good results were obtained in treatment of cardiovascular, pulmonary, rheumatic and neurological diseases.
