Microarray technology has become a widely-used tool iu mcdical research.Microarray experiments consist of complieated procedures, and errors ean be introduced in any of the steps.Such errors and quality assessment information of the experiments need to be taken in to account when analyzing the data.Mieroarray data arc essentially measurements of genomic features, such as gene expression and DNA copy number, made via genetic markers.The intra-class correlation (ICC), which has been pop ularly used in measurement models, can fruitfully be employed in microarray data analysis.In this talk, we will present modified ICC criteria and demonstrate how they can bc used to assess the quality of microarray data.
