  The development of synthetic methods has been a topic of particular interest in the advancement of metalorganic frameworks(MOFs).1 Mechanochemical synthesis by milling or grinding can allow the production of MOFs with fewer waste and less cost than a traditional synthesis that normally requires large amount of solvent,which can hinder the industrial-scale production.The present study demonstrates the use of economical and environmentally-friendly mechanochemistry in synthesizing an interpenetrated framework of [Co(bpe)(muc)]·(DMF)(H2O),which has been previously prepared by layering technique.2 The material have been characterized by powder X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy.As the framework contains open channels occupied by guest molecules,the thermal stability and N2 sorption property of the framework have also been studied.
