Thermal protection systems and hot structures of hypersonic vehicles include many panels which are very sensitive to acoustic loads during cruise or re-entry flights.It is a significant challenge for the integrity and the durability of these vehicle panels.Some C/SiC testing flat plates with 1mm, 2mm, and 3mm thickness were chosen and many acoustic tests are carried out using a progressive wave tube apparatus.
