The optimization of a micromixer with two-layer serpentine crossing microchannels was conducted by three-dimensional Navier-Stokes analysis.The chaotic micromixer using two layer serpentine crossing microchannels can control the fluid flow at very low Reynolds number through which the mixing is considerably promoted due to chaotic advection.
