The Neoarchean metavolcanic suite of rocks in Saheqiao occurs within the central domain of Precambrian terrane of eastern Hebei in the North China Craton.These rocks consist mainly of garnet two-pyroxene granulites,(garnet) clinopyroxene amphibolites,amphibole plagioclase gneisses and biotite plagioclase gneisses,and occur as massive blocks,bands or enclaves within Precambrian granitoid gneisses.
