Objective: To investigate the expression ofhepatocyte growth factor (HGF) in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)and its clinical significance.Methods: Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to determine the circulating serum levels of HGF in HCC patients and normal healthy people.Students t-test was taken to compare the levels of HGF between different clinical characteristics of patients with HCC.The Kaplan-Meier method with log-rank test was employed for survival analysis.Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to identify the prognostic factors in HCC patients.
