Purpose: The purpose of this study was to report the ultrasound feature of hyperechoic halo sign in thyroid nodules and evaluate the diagnostic value in predicting thyroid malignancy.Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the ultrasound features of 48 thyroid nodules with presence of echogenic halo in 228 pathologically proven thyroid nodules.
