Epichloae endophytes including Neotyphodium spp.and Epichlo(e) spp.are highly host specific fungal symbionts (endophytes) of cool-season grasses. In most eases, they systemically infect and colonize in all aerial parts of host plants.Although these 2 endophyte species had recorded in Roegneria kamoji (Ohwi) Kent et Chen, their biological functions are still unknown. As a sexual fungal endophyte involved in the host, the influences of stroma development ofEpichlo(e) yangzii Li et Wang to morphological properties of the host was focused in present study.
