  Four novel three dimensional(3D)3d-4f heterometallic coordination polymers,namely,[Ln12Cu31I27(ina)34(NDC)3(H2O)12]n.2nH2O [Ln = Sm(1),Eu(2),Gd(3),Tb(4); NDC = 1,4-naphthalenedicarboxylate,Hina = isonicotinic acid],have been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis,FT-IR spectra,thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)and X-ray single-crystal diffraction.
