Fusarium head blight (FHB) is a major fungal disease affecting wheat worldwide and it is caused mainly by Fusarium graminearum.The disease can severely reduce grain yield and quality and the infected grains could be contaminated with mycotoxins, especially deoxynivalenol (DON).
