Clathrate hydrates are crystalline compounds enclosing guest molecules in cages that are formed by hydrogen bonded water molecules [1].They are relevant to a number of industrial applications,such as sequestration of carbon dioxide [2],hydrogen storage [3],and natural gas transportation[4,5].
