Objective: To evaluate the changes in left ventricular (LV) systolic function in the long postoperative period in patients with constrictive pericarditis (CP) using speckle tracking echocardiography (STE);to correlate postoperative LV systolic function with clinical status.Methods: A total of 24 patients with CP underwent speckle tracking echocardiography 1 week before and 1 month,6 months, 12 months after pericardiectomy.
