  15-15Ti stainless steel has better anti irradiation swelling and corrosion resistance compared with 316L,as the same time,it has better mechanical properties and processing properties corresponding to T91 steel,so 15-15Ti steel can be choose the Lead based reactor shell material.The Al2O3/SiC bilayer thin films were prepared on 15-15Ti austenite stainless steel by radio frequency magnetron sputtering for furthur increasing its corrosion resistance.The structures and morphologies of the thin films were studied by XRD、SEM and AFM.The corrosion resistance of the 15-15Ti specimen coated with Al2O3/SiC bilayer films in the Pb-Bi alloy solution was also studied.The results show that prepared Al2O3/SiC bilayer films have a good crystal structure after being annealed at 900℃.The average roughness of the thin films was 2.9nm and the average particle diameter was 347nm.After continuous 500h corrosion in Pb-Bi alloying solution at 500 ℃,there are few oxidized layer on 15-15Ti coated with Al2O3/SiC bilayer films in relation to the bare 15-15Ti,so the corrosion resistance of 15-15Ti steel coated with Al2O3/SiC bilayer thin films are obviously improved.
