Two objects that are incongruent with their mirror images are chiral.Chiral is a common phenomenon in nature and exist at all scale range, from single organic molecule to living organism.Study of chirality benefits mechanistic understanding of many enantioselective processes in biologic and chemical systems such as asymmetric catalysis and chiral recognition as well as their industrial applications; it is also meaningful for exploring the origin of chirality in nature.
