Purpose:The study aims to edit a modified Tai Chi exercise as well as tests its load measurement so that it can help to delay degeneration and prevent osteoporosis fracture in elderly population.Methods: Mainly uses the literature material,expert interview,field investigation method and experimental method.Modified Taichi Exercise is based on traditional basic skills,Chen Style Taichi,Qigong and other elements,in order to delay the osteoporosis and prevention the osteoporotic fractures,including four kinds of thematic exercises of the balance exercises,stretching exercises,resistance exercises and explosive exercises.Determination of sports load is carried out.Results and Conclusions: Combination the main points of the traditional Taichi,the Modified Taichi Exercise conform to the movement principles,with innovative practice form and outstanding features; The “Modified Taichi Exercise” with moderate exercise intensity load is slightly higher than the Taichi routine practice; Sports college should cooperate with the government sports department,community,hospital and other organizations,to promote “Modified Taichi Exercise” in the elderly population,and further verify its fitness effect.
