Fiber gratings and other photonic devices based on photosensitivity of glass have a very wide application in the communications technology and other opto-electronics industry.Therefore, the photosensitive of glass has become one of the hot researches.However, research work has been focused on Ge-doped silica glass.In recent years, Sn-doped silica glass with strong photosensitivity, higher refractive index changes and temperature stability, gets more research interest in its photosensitivity.The influence of heat treatment and exposure time on photosensitivity of glass-ceramics was studied and analyzed.All the raw materials are analytical reagent grade, Weigh 10g mixtures.The well mixtures were put into corundum crucibles and melt at 1450~1500℃C for 1~1.5h in an electrical furnace.The melts were casted into the stainless steel mold and annealed immediately at 450~600℃C for 1h in muffle furnace.Sample 1 are tested by XRD.Test conditions are: Cu target, p=40kV/30mA, Step-width=0.02, continuous scanning, scanning speed=2°/min, and test results were shown in Fig.1.Sample1, Sample2 and Sample3 were polished and tested by 1240-type spectrophotometer of Shimadzu Corporation.And the result was shown in Fig.2.
