　　Automotive companies have become increasingly educated in eco-friendly and safety related vehicle performance, setting the bar higher for fuel consumption, noise & vibration, and automotive crashworthiness, etc.Multi-disciplinary optimization technology helps automotive engineers to reach these better designs in a shorter period.In this paper, various application cases are used to demonstrate how optimization technologies are applied in the automotive industry.
